This is just lovely. The drawing itself is excellent with good likenesses, the proportions are right for once. The detail is very good and the colors and lighting are just perfect. This just all comes together to make a very nice and very sweet snapshot of a moment of peace in Thorin's life. They are a different race with a different culture, so we can't even begin to speculate on their ways (since Tolkien didn't love them enough to tell us much of anything.) If they can find happiness with one another then bless them for taking the chance.

Gorgeous and such a tender moment, this is very well done, so professional and realistic, I really admire work like this and the very simplistic but well done shading and detail throughout, lovely work-espeically on their hair and clothing!

Beaufiful! Masterfully drawn and coloured. Do you use textures, or just brushes? I'm dying to know which brushes you use.

i just use simple hard round brushes and then put a texture on overlay.
